Historical Information: The original house, built in 1872 for Robert Frank, was demolished in September 2002 and rebuilt as a replica.

Reason for Award: 2 Bowman Street had decayed beyond restoration. The dedication to building a fine replacement home for the one that was originally on the site was remarkable. Most of the facade was carefully reproduced to replicate the original materials and scale.
