Hidden Gardens & Private Spaces
Sunday, June 7, 2026
Cabbagetown is home to many beautiful gardens, privately tucked away behind the historic homes of the neighborhood... and not often seen by many.
This self-guided walking tour gives you exclusive access to a curated collection of privately owned outdoor spaces. Each one has its own personality, story, and design inspiration. From carefully tended flower gardens to whimsical urban retreats, every stop offers something unexpected.
This year’s selection of wonderful homeowners will open their gates and allow others to view the landscaping, foliage and floral abundance of their personal gardens!
We look forward to seeing you there.
Tour Day Details
Step behind the gates and discover the secret green spaces of one of Toronto’s most charming neighbourhoods. For one special day, a select group of Cabbagetown residents open their private gardens and outdoor spaces to the public to offer a rare glimpse into lush backyards, creative urban oases, and hidden architectural gems.
