Cabbagetown Talks

Cabbagetown Talks is an initiative designed to support the CPA’s goals of advocacy, education and community engagement. Going forward, in line with the CPA principle of collaborative advocacy, we hope to partner with other local associations on topics of mutual interest.

On February 27: Parliament Street on the Cusp: The Future of Parliament Street

Panel members:

  • Chris Moise, City Councillor, Toronto Centre
  • Remo Agostino, Chief Development Officer, Daniels Corp.
  • Dennis Rijkhoff, Senior Associate, Architect AIA
  • Adam Wynne, Researcher and Heritage Advocate

Change is coming to Parliament Street. And it’s happening now. With it, a welcome opportunity to enhance and improve our streetscape and life within this vibrant heritage community.
But this change needs your voice!

Please join our next Cabbagetown Talk "Parliament Street on the Cusp," to improve our shared understanding of what redevelopment can or should look like in a heritage neighbourhood, and how you can influence it.

We’ve put together varied panel whose members will share their knowledge and unique perspectives on the issues that matter most.

Our goal is to inform and engage our community to support redevelopment in a way that will benefit the city, Cabbagetown residents, developers, businesses, and other members of this community.
See you there!

This will be a free event and all are welcome! But please, if you are not already, consider becoming a CPA member by clicking HERE.
